Our 1 year anniversary is on Sunday...I can't believe that a year has passed. Since David has to be in Wichita on Sunday morning for work.. I decided to make him a cake and give him an anniversary card...I figure that even with the problems we still had to acknowledge the day...

I baked a wonderful cake and decorated it. Charlie though ruined the cake by getting on the counter and licking the icing off of one side of the cake..BAD DOG!

David did not come home from Paul's house until 3am. He called and woke me up to let me know he was on his way. (he has not done that in a while)...I showed him the cake and the card...he did not say anything, just went to bed.

On Saturday morning, David apologized to me for going to Paul's house when it was our anniversary and that he was sorry he missed it. I explained to him that our anniversary was on Sunday, but since he had to leave on Saturday evening to go to Wichita, I thought that we could celebrate earlier...he just said he probably would have forgotten anyways...

David did take me out to lunch for out anniversary at Cascone's--it was a nice lunch

David shocked my even more when we got home and asked if I wanted to go to the movies with him--we went and saw HOT FUZZ..it was really funny! As we were leaving he again shocked me by suggesting that we go and get ice cream..I could not believe it...it was like I had the old David back again...

I'm so bored right now. I have no idea what to do. I'm definately not liking school right now and a bunch of people piss me off. There's not that much to say about today just that I need to get a crapload of work done. How average...And boring...nothing interesting at all...

Best Friends forever sometimes isn' true

but we will still be friends.

"Friends forever," you promised.
Together til the end.
We did everything together.
You were my best friend.

When i was sad, you were by my side.
When i was scared, you felt my fear.
You were my best support.
If i needed you, you were there.

You were the greatest friend,
You always knew what to say:
You made everything seem better.
As long as we had eachother,
Everything would be okay.

But somewere along the line,
We slowly came apart.
I was here, you were there,
It tore a hole in my heart.

Things are changing,
Our cheerful music reversed its tune.
It was like having salt with out pepper,
A sun with out its moon.

Suddenly we were miles apart,
Two differnt people, with nothing the same.
It was as if we hadn't been friends;
Although we knew eachother deep in.
Neither one of was to blame.

To all you people who you think

you missing a huge part in your life.

The hope that carries you,
belongs to the lord that cherishes you.
God took the pain so you didnt have to,
so you dont have to go through the pain you`re going through.
when you think faith is gone,

dont be scared.
hold your head up high beautiful,
youre immuatble.

have faith because your strong,
even when you think all hope is gone.
don`t give up because your lost,
you`ll never know how much you cost.
you`ll get through,
i promise you.
he took 99 hits to his back,
just because the devil attacked,
never looked back,
he always knew we were worth dying for,
his heart is whole.

filled with our love,
life is going to hurt you in plenty ways,
days after days.
learn to be yourself.
with gods love and effection,
he knows you`re total perfection.
your friends have all betrayed you,
the pain you think you`ll never get through.
God puts people in your life for a season,

not much today, just hanging out.. i just got out of the shower and i wanted to write some.. everything is going crazy.. my mom thinks i have depression.. well i got my prom shoes today i was so happy.. well gotta go

宁静的油画

男人一生，按自身的能力，只做以下四件事或其中的一两件事: 修身,齐家,治国,平天下。

不难看出，十岁的敦敦眼下正忙着修身，他的修身之道是讲究追求生活的乐观态度和享受心灵的宁静。用他自己的话来说, '把好事放在脑前, 把坏事放在脑后, 把安宁放在头顶的中间'。

前些天，敦敦在他的英文博客里的一段描述引起了我的注意，'星期六的早上，我洗完澡，走下楼，看到楼下，爸爸在沙发上读报纸，妈妈坐在爸爸旁边，拥抱着家里的小猫，倾刻间，我的心被这宁静的美征服了。'读后，我很受震动，没想到，孩子所留意的恰恰是我们大人并不留意的时刻，回想起来，真有几次，我跟老公开玩笑地闲聊，后来发现，敦敦刚好站在门外，很安静地倾听，孩子很享受，并不愿意打断爸妈劳累一天后的轻松。

生活本身，就是一幅油画，我们按照自己的喜好给生活中的鲜花加上浓重艳丽的色彩，别忘了留一块蓝天给自己，留一块绿地给家人。这就是我们所需要的内心满足和安宁。

不难想象，若干年后，长成大人的敦敦，不论身在天涯海角，不论面对逆境顺境，想起爸爸妈妈，想起温馨的家，他的脑海里还是会呈现这幅宁静的油画：爸爸在沙发上读报纸，妈妈坐在爸爸旁边，拥抱着家里的小猫。他的耳边自然会响起爸妈轻松打趣的玩笑的画外音。
